She was a legal department member of the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova since 2007.

Natalia Balaban is a visiting professor at Moldova State University and at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and frequently a legal expert speaker on national television. Likewise, Natalia is actively involved in social projects.
